Review: Crimson Cobalt Lollipop Theme
If you recently updated to CM12 and are missing this theme, Crimson Cobalt Lollipop is a recommended solution for you. This theme can be found on the Google Play Store: Crimson Cobalt Lollipop.
This theme is compatible with CM9, CM10, CM11, AOKP, and BAMF. Before leaving any reviews, it is important to read and follow the instructions provided. Please note that this theme is designed specifically for HDPI and XHDPI phones. Additionally, in order to use this theme, your device must have root access and a custom ROM such as CM9/AOKP that supports the Theme Engine.
Instructions:
- Download the theme
- Go to settings/themes and apply the system theme
- Reboot your device
- Select Crimson Cobalt from the available themes and apply it
You may encounter an error message stating, "Sorry, this theme is missing assets for your device's screen size." Ignore this error and proceed with applying the theme and rebooting your device.
Please be aware that certain elements such as the lock screen and some system dialogs cannot be customized with the T-Mobile Theme Engine. As a result, these elements will remain unchanged.
If you receive an error message indicating that the theme was "Improperly Compiled," simply apply the "system" theme, reboot your phone, and then apply Crimson Cobalt once your device has booted up again.
Crimson Cobalt is a red and black theme that provides a distinct look from the stock ICS theme.
